An audiovisual performance exploring the stories and memories told by our favourite items and family heirlooms as well as how to create drama with inanimate objects.
Concept
I was interested in what stories can our most favourite treasures tell about ourselves and how could I make inanimate objects work as interesting live visuals.
I borrowed some favourite items and family heirlooms from my friends and family and filmed them at home. I created mood and motion with camera movements, lighting and by dropping or rolling the objects on the table.
